Macbar Hopping: Last Call for Mac & Cheese

Step into Macbar and find out what it's like to eat a noodle, inside a noodle. The tiny, bright yellow interior of this Nolita restaurant mimics elbow macaroni slathered in cheese, making the entire Macbar experience unified. From the restaurant's design, to the food, and even the noodle-shaped take out containers, Macbar is all about the macaroni.

As long as you're in the mood for macaroni, there's a dish to please your every whim. Feeling traditional? Order The Classic, elbow mac with American and cheddar cheeses. Meat Lovers have plenty of options, the Carbonera, Stroganoff, Reuben, and even the crowd-pleasing Cheeseburger Mac (never choose between a burger or pasta again!). If you're in the mood to splurge (but, not really, since you still want mac & cheese), try the Mac Lobsta', made with tender chunks of lobster, cognac, tarragon, and mascarpone. Each variety is made with artisanal cheese and organic ingredients, giving you something to feel good about while you sink into a food coma.

Macbar is the perfect late-night stop on your way home, when a slice isn't enough to satisfy.

Warning: there isn't much seating inside a noodle. That's ok, because Macbar delivers. If you don't live nearby, take your macaroni to go. Macbar is the perfect late-night stop on your way home, when a slice isn't enough to satisfy but you're definitely craving something cheesy.

Tip #1

Take your glorious mac & cheese to go if you can’t find a seat.

Tip #2

If you’re hardcore about Macbar, you can get a complimentary mac & cheese if you check in 3 times over 7 days.
