Valentine's Day

OMG Foodie would like to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow! On this day of romance, we’d like to thank you for all the love you’ve shown us. As a way to reciprocate the feeling, here is a list of our favorite restaurants that still have reservations slots available for Valentine’s Day. So in case you still haven’t booked a dinner yet with the significant other, we hope this list comes in handy!

Café Boulud

Located in the Upper East Side and just a stone’s throw away from Central Park, this Michelin-star restaurant is an ideal choice to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your significant other. Café Boulud is offering a special menu tomorrow; a four course menu highlighted byh citrus cured Hamachi, tamarind glazed cod with shitake mushrooms and vanilla bavarois with yuzu sake sorbet. $215 per person (menu)

Colicchio & Sons

If you’re looking to have a romantic walk along the Highline, then dinner at Colicchio & Sons is the logical place for dinner! Serving some of the finest New American cuisine in New York, they are offering a four-course prix-fixe menu for Valentine’s day. Foie gras terrine, gnocchi with black truffle, a roasted rabbit with pork sausage, or a roasted lobster are some of the items that you’ll fall in love with. (menu)

Gotham Bar & Grill

We’ve been frequenting Alfred Portale’s establishment for years and we’re so excited to be visiting again on Valentine’s Day. Located just south of Union Square, you and your date can expect to enjoy one of the best meals of your life. We recommend you start with their petrosian caviar selections before you dive into the rest of the menu. We are fans of the seared foie gras, while the New York steak and rack of lamb will satisfy your inner-carnivore. (menu)

Start your romantic evening with a stroll along the Hudson River Park and then make your way to Wallsé in the West Village. Kurt Gutenbrunner and his team serve amazing modern Austrian cuisine with beautiful artwork by Julian Schnabel hanging inside. For Valentine’s Day, they are serving a special five-course menu, with offerings that include diver scallops, Maine lobster with fennel, veal tenderloin, and a slow cooked duck with foie gras. $125 per person (menu)
