Amazing Sandwiches with 1000 Different types of Beers
Originally a family-owned grocery store in 2001, Bierkraft has turned into one of the top beer emporiums in New York City. Serving 1,100 types of beer, 14 draught lines and two cask lines, Bierkraft is also home to some of the best sandwiches in Brooklyn. “It’s become a crazy conglomeration of everything”, co-owner Ben Grange said when describing Bierkraft, "we welcome serious and novice beer drinkers and food enthusiasts alike".

Beer, beer, and more beer: Every type of craft beer is hand-selected and curated by their cellar manager, Matt Barkley. Beers from around the world as well as local craft beers are organized by country and style of beer, which makes it easy for you to find the right drink to go with your food.

Wish you could bring home a large, fresh serving of beer to complement your sandwich? Order a "growler" – a 64 oz. jug with a special designed cap to lock in carbonation and provide freshness for days if not a week.
Sandwich Heaven: The sandwich quality at Bierkraft is equally as impressive as their beer selection. Many of their meats and ingredients are house made. You can build your own sandwich or try their creations. One of our favorites, the Italian, has a great combination that includes ham, petit jesu, hot sopressata prosciutto with arugula, tomato, onions, and roasted pepper. We also suggest the Vegetarian (eggplant, buffalo mozzarella, basil almond pesto, olives, arugula, and hot pepper relish) as well as the Roast Beef (wagyu beef and cheddar with arugula, tomato, onion, horseradish, and mayo). Also give the bratwurst a shot!

Every Tuesday at 7pm, Bierkraft hosts a free beer tasting which is a great opportunity to learn more about the rising craft-beer movement.
They offer a different sandwich special every weekend; on the last weekend of the month they do a meatball sandwich (which takes them a week to make!)
Be sure to try their ice cream sandwiches, one of the best in New York!
